Meet Molly. Molly is 9 years old and one of the ORA sponsored children.
Molly's father was an alcoholic who died when she was small and she lives with her mother and 5 siblings. Molly's family is very poor and live on less than $2 NZD a day. Molly is susceptible to malaria and had it 3 times in 2010.
Molly is very shy but very cute! She loves maths, netball and story telling. She says that when she grows up she wants to be a teacher and a 'tall girl'.
When asked how being an ORA sponsored kid has changed her life, Molly said:
"I am happy that I can draw pictures and tell stories, get medical care and gifts like books and pictures."
In this picture: On the ORA Orphan Day in October 2010, Molly arrived wearing the most amazing 'Snow White' costume - she looked gorgeous and the outfit really suits her love of story telling. The kids behind her are lining up outside of the new sick bay/ORA Uganda office for their health checks with Nurse Kim!
